So a new smash clone got announced and apparently it has ROLLBACK NETCODE one of the most sought out netcodes for gaymers.

It already has a decent chunk of characters but all the characterstrags from /v/ come out of the woodwork to freak out since unused/lost characters of nick lore like KABLAM or Jenny the Teenage Robot or Angry Beavers might come back.

Rollback netcode is one of the best netcodes. It essentially double checks of there's an error and instead of say killing you compared to the host of the multiplayer game it will auto correct from your perspective. It's really great for online matches. Even regular smash doesn't have rollback. It's the new high standard for fighters. On 4chan people root for their own characters and are just losing it while trying to figure out who is in the games. Nick has a giant history of series and the creators are clearly taking every aspect of each series and using it properly. Ahhhh!!! Real Monsters hasn't been mentioned since I was a kid which was a while ago. CatDog is confirmed and probably Aang too. Arnold from Hey doesn't fight because he's canoncially a pacifist so they put in Helga. Reptar is in because obviously the Rugrats babies can't fight. It means they're taking the game seriously, /v/ can tell, and they're losing their shit. This is one of those series that if done well will spawn many sequels. It's /v/s and /tv/s wet dream.

I made a sincere effort to not only read that, but understand it as well. I failed on both counts. I donโt know what a netcode is. I just want to play a game where I can beat Helga Pataki up as Nigel Thornberry and burn people as Reptar. This looks like it will offer both options and thatโs good enough for me.
