TF2 is literally nothing but generic russian, generic medic, generic man with gun, generic sniper, generic engineer and thats the only good hero shooter
The only characters that veer into interesting archetypes are soldier, - because of the bucket helmet - spy, pyro and demoman because hes the black scottish cyclops but even then he kinda fits into an archetype anyway. Just because hes black doesnt mean hes not generically scottish
