Unironically G*mergate led to the radicalization of a generation of men. So many guys were content to just sit around playing video games and not caring about politics, when suddenly they all learned that journ*lists are evil and that the establishment hates them. The most rightoid demographic could have been left completely uninvolved in politics, but women and minorities just had to come and get involved in video games and then g*mers elected Trump as revenge.
