Supposedly, there were almost no un-wounded soldiers left, many of them had not eaten in weeks and had lost upwards of 25kg of weight. A heck of a last stand, one for the history books. I hope the Muscovites treat them with dignity, but it seems unlikely.

This is the first time they surrendered. You may be thinking of a pocket of cut off Ukrainian marines that surrendered in Mariupol some weeks ago
