I have shit to do so Iβm just doing this bone marrow thing whenever I have time. For the record, I am not a pathologist.
Bone marrow has different cellularity. At young ages, the marrow can see about 90% cellularity, 50-80% in middle age people and can be downwards of 35-40% in geriatric patients.
Important characteristics need to be accounted for that alter the cellularity in a possible patient prior to a diagnosis. Do they have previous treatment, long lasting or initial presenting anemia, how old are they, etc.
