What did Law & Order mean by saying that it's difficult to convict BIPOCs in today's political climate? :marseykween::marseyracist:

:#marseywrongthonk:

It was quite funny to see an episode based on Gabby Petito or even a scene referencing Hunter Biden's leaked naughty pics in an episode titled "Free Speech" :marseylaugh:

I don't know but the BIPOC's lawyer is claiming that the dead cop approached the BIPOC woman because he's racist and hence provoked his own death lol

Weird racism angle when he was actually dating another BIPOC woman :marseyhmmm:

I'm dying of laughter because this was supposedly darning proof of his racism and it was him saying "brown sugar is the best kind of sugar there is" to his girlfriend :marseylaugh:

I love when people try to explain how this could possibly be offensive. What's next, you can't compliment an asian woman on her hair? That's every bit as much a racial characteristic.

Because it's addressing someone's race in a playful and slightly patronizing way, as opposed to being admiring or apologetic. It's a white man who is teasing a black woman in a playfully dominant way. It literally just "feels" racist, and the post-hoc explanations are just meant to articulate that feeling. That's why there are no actual "rules" or strict definitions to deciding what is and isn't racist, and why they contradict themselves so much; the logic comes after the fact to justify whatever accusation you felt like making.
