Please stop giving money to charity/non-profits and just give it directly to people. There are too many mutual aid requests for yβall to still be giving money to these organizations that 1) donβt do the work yβall think they do and 2) will spend more on salaries and rent than aid

s use that phrase a lot. Is it them passing around the same $20 to each other but GoFundMe/other e-begging apps take a bite out of it every time it's passed to the next person?
