Please stop giving money to charity/non-profits and just give it directly to people. There are too many mutual aid requests for yβall to still be giving money to these organizations that 1) donβt do the work yβall think they do and 2) will spend more on salaries and rent than aid

You don't get it, a nonprofit has some level of accountability. They want what is essentially a collective checking account for poor's to just buy whatever with.
