The sample size isn’t the problem (provided there were reasonable normalization techniques).

My concerns would be they didn’t take into account marriage (not sure if gays can only adopt when married… they certainly don’t have any accidental kids)

2.

Outcomes were measured via online surveys where same-sec couples were significantly more enthusiastic about filling (over 50 percent) which were answered by the parents

3.

They were Dutch, so I don’t know if these animal studies carry over to humans well

I think they've tried to do several of these studies, but most of the time the results never get published. I wonder why.
