I had an older model too and it just took a shit on my one day. lol So I have this one.

I'm 5'6" so close! On running days, I do about 15.5k steps and it registers almost 8 miles. So like yesterday it was 15.7k steps and 7.95 miles.

I try to watch my calories throughout the day but I'm not sure how accurate the calorie burn is. Yesterday, I burned about 2400 calories which is about where I land every running day, but I feel like that's too much. I feel like I burn more like 2000 but idk.
