I'm a parent aware of loot boxes, my kid still plays games with them. There's peer pressure from other kids to play the games. That was hard to manage pre covid. With covid rules and boundaries were stretched. Most of my kid's social life moved to being online. He earned his gaming money doing chores. We did our best to encourage not to spend on the gambling features in the games. Parenting is the hardest job I've ever had, we can all use some help, regulating loot boxes helps parents.
