The Great Indian Empire ( Akhand Bharat with upgrades)

Nepal - India already has Nepalese people in its armies. Nepal lost Chinese support of it's territories and leadership as it focused northwards towards Russia. India took advantage of this by adding Nepal as an additional state of the Indian Empire.

Sri Lanka - After the economic failures of 2022 and the collapse of Sri Lanka which was only averted by Indian actions, popularity of Indians in Sri Lanka was at it's peak. The Sri Lankan leadership was ousted multiple times in quick succession as none of them were able to rebuild and reinvigorate the economy without being dependent on India for supplies. This led to in time India being handed over the reigns of the country resulting in them being integrated into the Indian nation state.

Bhutan - Bhutan has no army of it's own and is an Indian protectorate. Over time Bhutan was naturally subsumed into India after Kashmir had been fully Indianized.

Bangladesh - Bangladesh suffered an economic crisis by 2040 due to it's receding land and explosively high population growth rate. It signed into effect a long term deal with India in exchange for the Bangladeshi elite selling out the common man Bangladeshi by making sure they never got to leave. In turn India provided military supplies to the Bangladeshi Junta to protect itself and maintain control over the region.

Pakistan - Pakistan collapsed by the year 2023 due to the internal economic rot. India took a major role in ensuring Pakistani nukes were secured and in turn managed to take over Pakistan occupied Kashmir along the way and went on to conquer the rest of Pakistan over time.

Afghanistan- India backed the Afghanistani rebel groups against the Taliban and once they won, realizing how far back they were compared to the rest of the world, agreed to perform a referendum on joining India, which was already highly successful in integrating the countries around it. The referendum passed with high support and at the end of it India renamed itself 'Akhand Bharat' literally translated as 'Monolithic India.'

At the end of this journey of conquest India became a 20 trillion USD economy and was now the 4th largest economy in the world in nominal terms and the 100th richest in per capita terms.
