Today in "AI Ethics." A YouTuber trained a language model on millions of 4chan posts and released it publicly. It has already been downloaded 1.5k times. One user,@KathrynECramer, tested it a few hrs ago by prompting it with a "benign tweet" from her feed. Its output: the G*mer Word

As someone who has worked with AI this is truly the only useful thing you can do with it

No, it might make it much easier to be a graphic designer(meaning putting the shit ones up against a wall)

The image I included looks really good at first but if you look closer you can start to notice some problems like the fingers being oddly shaped, now of course a good designer could just go back and fix those later but your average shit head i.e. most designers would just hit publish on this.

yeah but the bar has now moved from "learn to draw furry shit if you want furry art" to "learn to clean up slight defects in Cyberdynes Auto-fur anthromaxxer 5000". like, being able to provide convincingly good art is now nearly trivial and in short time the cracks will be less apparent and the tools for humans masking the flaws will be more tuned for this purpose. If this genie doesnt get re bottled then art as a career is gonna be different and it isnt just the "bad ones" that are gonna find the new competition stiff.

Yeah, I think this is pretty similar to the original computer revolution, when "computers" use to be like 50 women on a floor just doing random math equations you needed done. No one really mourns for the lack of "computing" jobs for women. The market is going to get shaken up but so did the horse industry when automobiles came out.
