How did you find it? I think the advantage of 5/3/1 is that you don't have to do much (45 mins 4x/week), you only need a squat rack, progression is clear, and it doesn't burn you out.

It worked well, I tried it with bench and have not worked with a weight under 185 in so long. I was honestly kinda shocked how gassed I was, so I will definitely be rotating in super high volume work in future workouts
