I genuinely am talking out of my butt but I figure if we throw everything at it we could do it within the next 30-40 years. We would have to train thousands of people for Martian environments simultaneously with sending hundreds of drones and builder bots to Mars while collecting soil and materials samples to figure out how to mine the materials and start the mining operations with autonomous robots being handled like curiosity from Earth to start running 5 years before the first people are even sent.
We could probably make it succeed by doing a collab between Japanese, EU, and US.
We need to get off this planet ASAP.
guys give me some hopium. Gimme the story of how we get off Earth and thrive on Mars please.

yes it is. Economic growth has hit a wall. Population is still rising. Global economic warfare is causing a global shakeup thats going to collapse multiple nations. Fertility collapse on the side. The most developed economies are all too old to thrive for much longer. The younger ones will become old too before they fully catch up to the old guard who due to prestige will try to slow them down.
Once population collapse combines with global warming 80% of humans are fricked. The remainder unless they turn super human won't have to capacity to control and dominate the entire planet.
Human culture needs to be transformed into a monolithic organism.
Cultural evolution is real we all know that. We need to accelerate the winning culture until it consumes all else.

economic growth has hit a wall while wealth continues to accumulate on top, population is rising in Africa and the poorest nations primarily but the overall trend is a downwards curve which will frick over the entire populations of the world. Africa will get fricked by overpopulation with low development meanwhile the rest of the world especially east asia will collapse from population loss.

We could detonate every single nuclear weapon on Earth right now and it would still be 1000x more habitable than Mars will ever be. You are, and I canβt stress this enough, extremely fricking r-slurred.

wrong. You are r-slurred for not realizing the importance of colonization. Lemme guess, you too are a temporary fetus shelter.

Ah yes, freezing planet no atmosphere no life no water low gravity > earth but a few degrees warmer than now.

look, earth civilization got trained to consume so hard it can't even produce offspring anymore. It's a dying species. Mars might actually have enough challenges to make us want to reproduce and dominate once again. We need to leave before we die out.

I would imagine that it would be much harder to set up a self-sustaining mars colony, then to simply not collapse civilization on earth

that's where you are wrong unfortunately. Just look at how badly the west fricked over the east and the south fricked over themselves, and it all came full circle when western degeneracy became something everyone aspired to but only the top could have access to so all the others just died out impotent little things.
