like 80% of the time i greentext when i mean to quote and i have to take ten seconds to immediately edit my post, that is very valuable time lost

It also completely breaks the feature where if you select text and then hit "reply" it will make it quote, and makes the site way uglier because the a good portion of users are too r-slurred to change it
