On a rather unrelated note, the Snyder cut was worth watching for some of the scenes involving the Flash. One of my friends was giving me shit for saying that I was happy that the Snyder Cut got memed into existance and I showed them the Wonder Woman bank heist and asked them who else would make a scene like that (Except I hate the color palette or filter shit they're doing all the time now. It's like the 2010's FPS "everything grey and brown" era got pushed into movies and it's fricking awful.)
I also still think that Speed Racer was a good movie, so at some point I think Snyder should team up with the Wachowskis and together they'll make the ultimate action scenes that blow through the most incredible piles of money with a fricking horrific trainwreck plot that is also a thematic clusterfrick. But, by god will it look good as it implodes.

The new Matrix was pretty amusing. It's like the Wachowskis said "ok, I'll take your fricking money and make this stupid reboot movie, but only if I get to make fun of you the entire time." If you haven't seen it, Neo munches down blue-pills as anti-depressants and pines after Trinity who's a soccer mom married to Chad. Literally named Chad, it was fricking hilarious. I've always been under the impression that Spider-Man 3 was a purposeful "crash this plane with no survivors" where everyone involved agreed to make it as r-slurred as possible so that they can finally stop, and this seems like it's in the same tradition.
