I buy a dozen free range brown eggs for $3, which has certainly gone up but where the heck are you getting double that from? I get orange roughy for 10/#, snapper for 7/#, salmon for 7/#, chicken for 1.30-4/# depending on what it is, and pork loin/shoulder for 3-4/#. Only thing I've cut back on is beef, all the cheap cuts got trendy and expensive so the only thing I buy anymore is ribeye/rib roasts. Frick paying 5/# for ground beef or 10/# for skirt steak/tritip/etc
