As a pretty partisan rightoid I was surprised that Bootygig proposed things like court packing, reparations, and embraced M4A and GND. He is a good talker tho and did do well in the most of the town halls I saw him in.

Ultimately the best politicians can be different things to different people. Moderates see a white guy acting like a statesman and ignoring most idpol. Progressives see a gay guy who pays lip service to their ideas. Neolibs see a Harvard grad and McKinsey technocrat. Buttigieg has a good shot but you donโ€™t get many opportunities in politics (unless the party clears the way like it did for Biden lmao). 2024/2028 or bust?
