"Ivory Tower" has a very negative connotation here in Singapore and it's usually used to refer to our out of touch politicians, is it the same over there? :marseyhmm:

fwiw I think it's usually used to refer to out-of-touch intellectuals (professors and the like) rather than politicians, but could be either
