The rightoid poorcel populations were already r-slurred despite going to public schools, the dem are just mad about losing potential votes in this political tug of war. Nothing that those in charge of the current public school system have suggested would actually improve the math and science performance metrics that always get brought up in comparison to places like China.

It's just a giant myth that funneling more money into rural hick/urban BIPOC schools will make them better, America already outspends several European and Asian countries with excellent school systems. For example, CPS teachers are among the highest earning in America, yet the schools they preside over are absolute dogshit. What students need are stronger family units and values that place education as a high priority, and paying teachercels more doesn't actually affect that. Jayden and Peng get ahead because their parents invest a ton of time and money into them, and resultant increased school resources and teacher salary are downstream from that. There's no equity based lesson plan that's going to change the effects of systemic poverty and broken homes on children.
