Just says you get money for sending your kid to private school, to cover for tuition. From the party that doesn't want to pay for college tuition.

Still r-slurred, but not as r-slurred as you made it sound. Well done.

It's a grift lol. The GOP has been pushing unregulated charters for years.

The b-word Trump appointed destroyed the education system in her own state. It was considered the wild west of chartering with no regulations at all.

The non-profit charters that followed state standards all wildly out performed the contard for profit charters.

Even worse is the contard charters that were failing horribly were able to stay open due to athletic programs.

Basicslly this is the real threat to the education of children - unhinged chartering propped up by republicans.

Who cares though public schools are objectively butt. Even the all white ones are dysfunctional as all heck. What is this nebulous term outperformed? Do you even have a source? Is it like 20%? Or like 100

Because this allows them to offer up a non-solution to a real problem and kick the can down the road - which is what republicans do best. They have this entire set of non-solutions to real problems. These non-solutions have a sonorous ring to them and appeal to people with a surface level understanding of the problem they care so deeply about.

It's what I call performative common sense - dems do it too with a few problems that require ideologically uncomfortable solutions.

The difference is the GOP does this with every problem to create the illusion of a policy platform, which is then glued on top of the real party machine - which exists only as a vehicle to cut taxes for the rich and pander to the Christian nationlist movement.

Then once the GOP obtains power these non-solutions never materialize as the people leading the charge know they are not solutions but aesthetics useful for obtaining power in the short term.

When they do end up passing a non-solution due to backlash from the voters they scam it ends up making the problem even worse, and then the cycle repeats.

:#marseywut2:

It probably comes from property tax, like most education funding. Paying more taxes to own the libs?
