Some tips for reviewers:
I don't care if the memory is overclocked. If the sweet spot is DDR4 3733 as per AMD's statement, I want to see benchmarks at DDR4 3733 as tight as timings will allow. Prices in RAM are similar enough that it makes no sense to use slower RAM. If Intel had a recommendation for their platform, I'd say use that as well, rather than the officially supported RAM. Unless there are valid reasons not to, use the latest BIOS update and specify the version you are using. Install the Windows 10 1903 update via clean install (wipe the SSD, then run trim after installation of all updates). Install the latest chipset drivers and note the driver version for others. Don't pull a g*mers nexus and review a used 3600. Test PBO.
Include overclocked AMD/Intel CPUs in separate line items. I saw one review that only showed an overclocked 9900k against a stock 3900X. Seriously? DDR4 3200 CL16? seriously? By just tightening the timings on my own RAM on my 1950X, I gain several FPS. Why not CL14? I have some stuff to get straightened out with life, but I hope to be doing my own hardware reviews at some point. I may target the 3600 series since that seems to be the holy grail of all the chips.
/Rant To AMD: Get your shit together regarding reviews. You had production quality chips for at least a month, yet these guys had only a couple days to work on reviews. Every single Ryzen Review has had issues, including the use of DDR 2133 RAM for the original reviews, and RAM has a HUGE influence on Zen 1 performance. Always do your best to paint your product in the best light possible without cheating.

"Prank," my butt. This was a legitimate attempt to rip off a bunch of Bronies by Sam Hyde and the other unfunny manbabies over at Million Dollar Extreme. there are screenshots of Hyde and his cronies gloating, with Hyde in particular planning to pay his rent and alimony. They thought they could rip off Bronies because no one would care or come to their aid. Claiming this was a "prank" and not a full-on scam that was found out and fell through is revisionist as frick.
