I have a CCW and I'm afraid I do not agree with the USCCA on a few of their points. For me public Safety is paramount and I believe Steps should be taken to ensure this regardless of what criminals do, we need to conduct ourselves as law abiding citizens responsibly and have processes and procedures that reflect our commitment to public safety. I strongly believe everyone that obtains ownership of a gun should have a background check ran before transfer of ownership unless they have a valid CCW. I insist on it myself if someone wants one of my guns on a private sale. I think it's the responsible thing to do. Good people have nothing to hide.Take the extra step just to be safe. Criminals will lie to you. Don't take a chance. Run the background at an FFL First.
