Extremely based, the very least career criminals can do is a little honest labor for once in their life.
I want woke obnoxious states that refuse to prosecute criminals to have to do this one day. Make all inmates wear shock collars for when they get out of line, just turn that shit up to 11 when they start getting uppity.
Make them work on the governor's mansion tending the grounds with film crews setup to humilate them, nothing is more humiliating to a criminal than being seen "working for the man."
They'll have to work for their cell and 3 square meals. Far lengthier sentences need to be handed out, and for the many violent crimes the reprobates commit they'll have to pay restitution to their victims. For the many judgement proof ones, we need laws on the book to auction off the shit from their "crib." Make them watch it be sold over the pay per minute love video feed too.
