being even a marginally attractive woman on tinder means you get like 30+ matches a day and you get to pick and choose (source: friends with several at least marginally attractive women). which means you constantly believe someone 'better' is around the corner so you commit to none of them ever, it's just sitting in a casino playing slots for infinity.
being a man on it is spamming a hundred messages at a time and maybe you'll get once response and they speak in one word phrases (source: tried this bullshit a few years ago, realized simply easier to just go outside and talk to people)
