Empty land doesn't vote.

If it did it would probably vote for the party that is on the side of environmentalism anyways.

Ah yes those farmers that provide you food would love to ration their fuel to meet outlandish CO2 requirments while working twice as hard for half the crop bc some idiot in washington wants to ban fertillisers

Lol the constant attempts to over value farmers (many of which literally just suck up government subsidies for meme fuels and the mass over production of corn) always makes me laugh.

I'll tell you what - let's take a very deep look dive into which farmers are actually doing something of value and which aren't and then we can base the ec on these new facts.

Guess why rurals and rightoids would never take that deal.

Maybe the bigger problem is that policies that work well in cities don't do so well in low population areas.

  • police reform

  • stringent climate laws to dissuade the use of ICE's in cars

  • over reliance on "green" energy that have fluctuating outputs & high costs

  • condoning drug use

  • higer taxes on property/landownership

  • higher taxes on wealthy individuals

  • gun control

  • criminal rights reform(meaning, no castle doctrine, you must call the police, can't detain the perp yourself, can't hit or harm them, etc)

  • unnecesary spending on "diversty programs" and other crap

  • diversty quotas for businesses

  • Lockdowns

  • restrictions on farming

  • policies that create adittional overhead costs for small & medium businesses

  • high federal taxes for services they'll never use

  • public transportation

  • mass immigration of low-skilled labourers

Not to mention the difference in values between coastal cities and rural america. Most recently abortion as a prime example.

And so much of american policy is already hyperfocused on cities. Is it any wonder that the "flyover states" aren't exactly thriving? It's funny how urbanites want to dictate wats best for people even though they have no idea how they live, don't respect their way of life & constantly sideline them.
