Wrote a big ling thing up about Lockheed, probably would have dox'd myself. Short version:

They suck, they engineer shit, lose the sustainment contract as soon as the first one expires.

They're just too big and have separated themselves from operations.

Pretty easy for the government to come forward with requirements and some LM engineers can meet those requirements.

The problem is the r-slurs from the government putting out the requirements and the LM engineers designing the system have no operational experience.

If the design doesn't take it's operation into mind then the sustainment program is fricked from jump street and that's why they lose contracts.

I make a frickton of money because I understand this and after 25 years can roll with the punches and not get jaded about it.

I have taken millions from Lockheed-Martin on a grudge because their bullshit automated resume screener denied me and the program manager that was gonna steal me didn't answer his email for 4 days. There's a longer story there, but they lost. Frick them and GD.
