It is generally believed that the Neanderthal might have been in general smarter than the homo sapiens. However, even with their bigger brains today we are far more homo then Neanderthal in our DNA admixture.

In a similar vein Indus Valley Civilization is one of the great ancient empires which seemingly died out one day. One of the theories is that even though they were far smarter for their time, the barbaric hordes were far more savage and destroyed their society.

Along this same line of reasoning we reach the Jews. Some of the smartest people in the world are supposed to be jews, yet they were always so few in number that in Germany millions of them were killed off in the genecides which was a severe hit to their population.

There are about 14.7 million jews in the world today. Even if they were to double their numbers every 2 generations, they would still end up crossing hundred million after centuries of effort.

Which is to say, they chose the wrong evolutionary niche if the goal was to increase the Jewish population and guarantee that they would prosper and spread across the entire world.

For context- 73 countries in the world have populations that are higher than the total number of jews in the world.

In terms of religious populations, Judaism is the eighth largest religion in the world if we were to include atheism in the ranking. Other religions, numbering at 61 million has about 4x the number of people in it that Judaism has in total.

Between 2005 and 2018, the world's Jewish population grew at a rate of 0.63% per year on average.

In this way Israel is in a similar position to the EU. Just as Europe is on the brink of decline and the EU is ever expanding, in the same manner the Jewish people remain on the verge of decline while the Jewish state reaches new heights of prosperity.

Conclusion - Jewish people chose the high quality low quantity reproductive ideal. This has turned out shit for them as they went too extreme to one side. It is highly likely that Israel will remain one of the prosperous countries of the world but the Jewish people will soon enough see themselves in decline and dying out on a path similar to Lithuania.

Solution for the Jewish problem - One of the possible solutions for the Jewish problem is to see a huge increase in Aliyah in Israel. Aliyah refers to the return of the Jewish diaspora back to Israel. If Israel were to receive hundred thousand Jews in Aliyah every year it could see itself prosper to new heights. Currently it only receives 20 thousands of people each year. On the reproduction side the Jewish people could prosper as long as they kept their reproductive rates at 2% growth every year.
