If another banking crisis happens, i'm not sure there's enough political will to bailout the banks again.

The first bailout should have also included bailouts for normal people.

If I could trace trumptardism back to any one thing, it'd be the financial crisis. It made large swathes of the population ripe for the picking for any unhinged right-wing demagogue that came along promising to "punish the elites."

You're right, there is no will to bail the banks out again, for obvious reasons.

Let me be clear - the financial bailout in 2008 was the correct move, but the government should have managed perceptions better.

I disagree, if I had absolute power, i'd let the banks fail.

I'd also let Boeing fail, along with all the other zombie corporations.

I'd create postal banking, and give people an immediate emergency cash fund, just to cushion the banking collapse.

Have online postal banking, along with credit and investment, plus throw in some extra cash to open several accounts.

I'd even throw in student loan, medical debt, agriculture debt, and some commercial debt relief as incentives.

The banks and Boeing all deserve to get fricked.

Call it the "President Trump You're Fired Act".
