We can just pretend to be bots to ping people

So there was someone in the groomercord saying the admin/mods might make a bot that uses reddit accounts to ping people so lolcows come here to yell at us. However it just occured to me we could bait people to come here by pretending to be a bots.

Step 1: Make reddit throwaway account name it like dramabot

Step 2: Whenever we make a post about someone use said account to ping them as thus

/u/Dramabot Beep! Bop! Boop! Someone from rdrama.ga has posted this reddit thread (drama url here)

Then we wait for them to make an account and bam, manual pinging. The only downside is obviously reddit will try to ban IPs from these bots that aren't actually bots. So then we need VPN chads users to constantly make more accounts so we can manual ping people.

Just an idea for when r/drama eventually gets the axe. We COULD do it now but then regular drama would get banned and not enough people have come here so far.

yeah I wanted to write one a while ago when I made a bluelight knockoff. IIRC, there is no API call to PM people, so it's more of a PITA than just making an api call.
