TLDR: Some friends run a train on a slut. The last one in line falls in love with slut and 6 years later is set to marry her. I'm not a very active user on this site anymore—I try to spend less than fifteen minutes a day on here in total—but even I have noticed the drastic increase in reposts over the past few days. It's not that hard to use the search box to see if your news item has already been posted.

That being said, posts don't show up in the search results if the user who posted them has a private profile. Perhaps @Aevann could work on a solution to this.
