BIPOC challenges Mayo to street fighter IRL

:marseydeuxfoid:

Political commentator Cenk Uygur has said he could beat podcast host Joe Rogan in a fight, claiming it would be the "easiest $1,000" he would ever make.

Uygur alleged he was "much larger than Joe" and could "end him." But how tall are they both in real life?

Why Did Cenk Uygur Say He Could Fight Joe Rogan?

The host of The Young Turks made the comment while sparring with Rogan fans on Twitter on Thursday night, after criticizing the podcaster's stance on COVID-19 vaccinations.

The host of The Joe Rogan Experience has made several controversial remarks recently around COVID-19, such as one speculating that Joe Biden faked getting the booster shot on live television.

Earlier this year Rogan came under fire after revealing he had COVID-19 and "threw the kitchen sink" at it in order to get better, including ivermectin, an antiparasitic drug that is not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of any viral infection, including COVID-19.

Rogan previously suggested that young, healthy people did not need to get the vaccine on his podcast, which reaches an estimated 11 million people per episode.

Uygur tweeted Thursday: "To all the loser @joerogan fans crying over my attack on his 'freedom' hypocrisy & stupidity, are you guys part of the crew or do you kiss his butt for fun? I thought he was a big boy who could handle himself."

Then one Rogan fan tweeted they would donate $1,000 to Uygur's network or a charity of his choice to see the commentator call Rogan "a loser to his face," noting Rogan's martial arts background.

Uygur accepted the offer and tweeted: "Deal. Easiest $1,000 I ever made. You think he's going to assault me? Sure, whatever. That's incredibly dumb."

He also noted the fight "wouldn't work" as "I'm much larger than Joe and I've fought my whole life. I'd end him.

"But grownups don't do that. I'll send you the PO Box to send check to later," Uygur tweeted.

How Tall Are Cenk Uygur and Joe Rogan?

According to IMDB, 51-year-old Uygur is 5' 8Β½" tall, while 54-year-old Rogan is an inch shorter at 5' 7Β½."

While Rogan may be shorter, he does not fall short in martial arts experience.

According to his website, his passion for martial arts began at the age of 13 and he earned a black belt within two year. By the age of 19, Rogan won the U.S. Open Taekwondo Championship as a lightweight champion before also beating the middle and heavyweight title-holders to obtain the Grand Championship.

Newsweek has contacted Uygur and Rogan for comment.

Perfect Copypasta

"Why is it, that I fight for bussy? There are of course some explanations, and surely more than one person has assumed the real reason.

Perhaps it is because, they say, I am "simply caught up in the polarizing nature of modern politics; That I oppose and promote things instinctively, due to my conditioning and upbringing on the 'right'." That is true to an extent, albeit a small one.

Another reason, maybe, is that I "Am subconsciously rebelling against the trend of my generation and age group". Although compelling, this is not the case in any way.

The real reason, is that I despise being ordered around by an entity that acts as if it is smarter than me. I loathe the backhanded insults and assumptions it levies at my intelligence and character. This entity assumes that I am to stupid, poor, and generally incapable of making the "correct" decisions for myself. It assumes I am selfish, and so what I have must be stolen from me and given to the "needy". I despise theft, and this is an obvious form of it.

Worst of all, above all else, is that this entity assumes I am too lazy to advance my standing in life, and that I have no hope of advancing my societal position.

I hate, with every fiber of my being, an inherently lazy individual. I am not lazy in any sense of the word. That insult alone infuriates me. The absolute gall of the gov't to declare I am incapable of improving my own life is an insult to my very being.

FURTHERMORE, Who does this government think it is, to demand my service to their whims? I am over them! Not the other way around! I am not their slave, and therefore, they have no right, no place, and no business dictating to me how to live my life. Darn them all. I will live as I see fit for myself.

That, is why I fight for bussy. By the grace of God, I am a free man, and until my dying day, that will remain the case.

New conspiracy idea

I keep seeing headlines like "family members covid die 3 days apart." You could probably get some good traction on /r/ conspiracy saying that when someone with covid dies journoids will try to assassinate any family members with covid so they can write these headlines.

[Not Drama] question about the middle east powers

Hey so I liked reading about stuff around the world and then getting rdrama's opinion about the stuff.

I will drop the question first and you may choose to read the rest if you want to know my reasoning.

Q) who do you think among Israel, Turkey, and Iran is going to rule the middle east in the coming decades? Who is going to be top dog?

So looking at the middle east it seems like there are only two actually viable powers there and a third with the power to exert influence at the borders.

These are Iran, Israel, and Turkey.

Israel has been one of the most stable countries in the region with constant growth both in economy and population. Fun fact: it's one of the only 1st world income countries to always stay well above the replacement fertility rates. Due to these two factors and continuing support from the US I expect them to remain a stable power in the middle east along with the fact that ties between Israel and the Islamic nations are beginning to stabilize as they realize they cannot cuck this buck.

In the case of Iran again its been a very stable power with continued growth in spite of American sanctions along with a well educated population capable of long term stability. They are also one of the only shia majority countries in the middle east and well positioned to invade other regions with the justification of protecting the shia minorities in neighbouring countries.

Turkey because they are very nationalistic today, the PM seems to be constantly trying to revive the dream of the Ottomon empire, they already participate in multiple conflicts around the globe, and have a military string enough to be able to fight the militaries of the middle east.

I did not include Saudi Arabia as although it's one of the most famous rich states in the world, it no longer has American support of the previous decades because they no longer rely on its oil production, Saydi Arabias native population doesnt really know what a days work actually is, and Saudi Arabias giant wealthy projects to transform the region have for the most parts been dead on arrival, from Masdar city, to that other city they are trying to build off the coast or in a river or something, to diversifying their economy which again has been an overall failure

So what do you think? Who is the power that's going to control and influence the middle east? Who's gonna be top dog?
