Just beat the Congestion of Flesh last night (second real boss, fifth if you include minibosses, this is equivalent to the Tree boss in Dark Souls 3)

Some thoughts so far:

• streamers massively overhyped how going into the Umbral led to alternate exploration. Most times you go into the Umbral it's just to go a short distance or this was the main path in the first place.

• mobs are so dense the devs are nerfing it within the first week

• dodge is super OP but the game compensates for this by pooping out hordes of enemies and having enemies track you (they will spin and lunge to reach you)

• minibosses are often presented as if they were real bosses and then disappointed me when they were too easy

At least it continues the proud Dark Souls tradition of putting a cute girl with bare feet in the main hub area (seriously why is this a thing)

We all lurk the same subreddits so I’m probably not the only one who has come across this girl. I really can’t figure out what her deal is. She posts EVERY DAY from new accounts. I am starting to think she has some sort of kink about her virginity.

She always gives the same identifying information: she’s a 27 year old virgin in Chicago who went to an all girls’ school.

Dudes usually like me as company as I seem to be at least somewhat entertaining even if I can be pretty awkward and stutter a lot.
