Kagi - Kagi is a company that runs their own niche, paid, search engine by the same name that is pretty popular on orange site and niche nerds who hate Google. They also have their own beta browser called Orion which uses Webkit and can utilize Chrome and Furryfox extension.
Brave - Brave is brave. Browser, search engine, gay crypto shit, probably some other shit. Run by a guy who got ran out of Mozilla years back after being CEO for for a couple of weeks due to donating a couple of grand to anti-LGBT charity or something. If you use Brave you are an anti-LGBT racist chud and your death after Biden is reelected is inevitable.
I'm incredibly disappointed in Kagi's partnership with Brave search. Brave, as you know, is led by Brendan Eich. Mr. Eich is infamous for his unrepentant financial support of California's Prop 8, aka California's gay marriage ban. Mr. Eich's homophobia is so disgusting that he was forced to resign as the leader of Mozilla after a massive outcry from their employees and community members. Since then, Mr. Eich has only defended his homophobia, and has gone on to spread misinformation about the COVID-19 pandemic.I refuse to financially support any organization that partners with an organization that tolerates such hate and ignorance. It's a shame, too. Kagi seemed like the right answer for the internet. But your success cannot come at the expense of continued attacks on the LGBTQ+ community and scientific literacy from people like Eich.

So #Kagi is now partnering with #Brave, i.e. the company of Brendan Eich, who has been CEO at Mozilla for eleven days before he had to leave due to massive criticism of his homophobic views. Brave's most well-known product is a browser with its own cryptocurrency, co-designed by Eich.
A feedback post asking Kagi to reconsider has been closed by Kagi's founder Vladimir Prelovac because "Considering company x founder political views is not a factor in [their] evaluation".
