Actually, yes. 4 volumes even. I found an excuse to write a hacky script that turns cbz into a reasonable PDF so I can read it on Kindle.

As for the manga itself, it's pretty good, quick read. I like badly motivated protags, people are getting killed, Power is fun. Dunno how well it will translate into 12 episode series, tho.

Are you running some *NIX system? It depends on ImageMagick (for convert) and bash/zsh globbing. I can maybe post a how-to to the hole.

Nah just Windows 10 at the moment.

At any rate, is it just taking each image in the cbz and then combining it sequentially in one pdf?

Pretty much. With scaling (if needed), doing PDF-per-folder if the cbz is constructed that way, and some weight limits (you can e-mail PDF to your Kindle up to 20MiB).

In the end cbz is just an archive of images, and PDF is just the same.
