I can't take this show seriously. I watched the first episode and the premise is so ridiculous that I would think this was an otaku comedy were it not for the serious tone set by the art direction.

The manga is half comedy. That's why a bunch of people on /a/ are pissed that they decided to adapt the anime the way they are.

I hate comedy so I wouldn't be into it regardless. I just thought it was bizarre how it tries to present itself as serious when the actual content is not serious at all.
