The love live stage play is chugging along apparently. I’m still confused as to why it exists and much like the radio dramas I don’t think it will have a big audience outside of Japan. It’ll be interesting to see if the group from the play gets anime-itized or if it is totally it’s own thing.
Also the V-tubers are coming soon. Not new but I really wonder how much this is going to blur the line between seiyuu and character. Maybe it will all be scripted but I doubt it.

Just make sure you watch the 1988 OVA and not the new version. I’d recommend a site like animepahe or HIDIVE if you’re in a country where you can access their site. HIDIVE is currently the only legal way to watch it other than old cassettes if that’s important for you.
The watch order that I recommend is
Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu: Waga Yuku wa Hoshi no Taikai / Legend of the Galactic Heroes: My Conquest is the Sea of Stars
Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu: Arata naru Tatakai no Overture / Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Overture to a New War (this covers the first 2 episodes)
The 1988 110 episodes OVA. Of course skip the first 2 episodes if you want since you already watched the movie that covers them.
I guess the only thing of note is that for the first ~20ish episodes that make up the first season are a bit more stiff animation wise since they’re the oldest.

Magical★Explorer Light Novel review:
The premise is that a dude get reincarnated into his favorite porn VN game as a side character. I've never played any such games so I cant relate.
TL;DR:
WN Status? Complete.
Nipwank? none.
Weebshit? Little.
Boobs? Big.
Battle maid? Of course.
Harem? Obviously.
Unlimited mana for the MC? You know it.
Japanese LN author try not to add a few weird creepy comments challenge? Impossible.
The first volume is like a long prologue and it has the most ecchi scenes, and they are fairly generic. In volume 2 and 3 the ecchi scenes are fewer and are pretty well justified by the eroge world setting. The MC fight with a scarf which is decently well used concept I guess. Most of the novels are spent going into dungeons and labyrinths. Sadly the TL is made by Yen press so it's on a slow AF 3 volumes per year schedule.
Score? Eight out of ten massive mammaries. I'm going to read the next volume when it releases.

The gameplay is really mediocre but the story and characters are both great . It also has its own unique quirkiness like jumping between different game genres or having to delete your save files to reach the ending. The story is still main selling point (besides porn ig) but i can see why noteveryone would like it.
Replicant's story is even better but since its originally a ps3 game and the pc version is a remaster and not full fledged remake its even worse in terms of gameplay

The infamous lesbian orgy is actually very thematically important to the story of Chainsaw Man. chainsaw Man is a manga about (among other things) how indulgence in base urges can actually lead us away from the things that would make us happy in the long run. Quanxi adds to this theme by frequently indulging in lesbian orgies and telling Kishibe that she’d rather continue to do that than fight Makima, because “ignorance is bliss.” …and then Makima kills her and everyone she loves. This is a pretty direct parallel to what happens to Denji, which is why the fact that Quanxi also directly tells Denji that “ignorance is bliss” is significant. The arc ends with Denji coming to the same conclusion about ignorance, deciding he knows too much about Power to be attracted to her. But then, in the very next arc, Makima kills Aki, then kicks off the next arc by killing Power, showing that Denji’s willful ignorance about how Makima was manipulating him for the sake of (he hoped) eventually sleeping with her has actually destroyed his life. Having seen the brutality of the world, both him and Quanxi decide that the pursuit of carnal desires is just as valid a goal as any other …but their chosen ignorance ends up ruining them in the end. (Which is also why Denji loses his “dream battle” early in the manga).
So yeah, I’d say the lesbian orgy is actually a pretty important thematic addition to the story.
