I only watched a few episodes of Ascendance of a Bookworm this week, am about ⅔ through season 2 now.

Also I originally wanted to use a cute tomboy gif for todays picture, but apparently the 'gayload is too large' 🙄🙄🙄, so this is what you get. @Aevann is there a frame limit to uploads? The file had 300 frames I think but was only 4MB large. Also even if I convert the gif to webp prior to uploading it, the site still tells me it couldnt be converted to webp?

Stop watching shows made for horny teens then. I’d recommend Monster or Legend of the Galactic Heroes. If you do watch LotGH though make sure you watch the prequel movie and movie that redos the first 2 episodes, the viewing experience is much better that way.

Just make sure you watch the 1988 OVA and not the new version. I’d recommend a site like animepahe or HIDIVE if you’re in a country where you can access their site. HIDIVE is currently the only legal way to watch it other than old cassettes if that’s important for you.
The watch order that I recommend is
Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu: Waga Yuku wa Hoshi no Taikai / Legend of the Galactic Heroes: My Conquest is the Sea of Stars
Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu: Arata naru Tatakai no Overture / Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Overture to a New War (this covers the first 2 episodes)
The 1988 110 episodes OVA. Of course skip the first 2 episodes if you want since you already watched the movie that covers them.
I guess the only thing of note is that for the first ~20ish episodes that make up the first season are a bit more stiff animation wise since they’re the oldest.
