this is manga. Anime is video. manga reads from right to left because Japanese is written right to left. Manga comes from Japan, not Korea.

Pretty sure you're wrong here for horizontal writing. It's only vertical writing which goes right-to-left in Japanese. Horizontal writing goes left-to-right, from top to bottom, just like in English.
Is it just manga? Like if you pick up the Japanese translation of Harry Potter over there, will it read backwards like manga?

start top right, read left to the middle (the end of the page/where the fold is/big white bar), then go back to the right on the lower panels reading right to left again.

Idk I read part one in a day and didn't think it was anything special, plot points seemed to just get dropped and the joke of "Surely X cannot possibly happen" Turns Page "X" got boring after the first time and it happened like 80 times more.
