Weekly Anime Post 101

After last weeks celebrations (and immense disappointment that @August did not keep his promise to post peepee), we are back to regular anime posting. Personally I barely watched anything this week cause I was kinda busy, but Im sure a lot of you neets did nothing but watch anime and masturbate all week long, so let us know about that!

I am done with long fights where the outcome is already know since it's good guys vs bad guys. Case in point I was watching the JJK 0 movie and I straight up fell asleep during the big fight, only to wake up right after, I just can not be arsed to care anymore:marseydead:. I'm dropping the Private Tutor LN for the same reason, the fights just go on and on. If the new Slime volume 16 that comes out next week is full of fights like the previous volume was I'll be very disappointed.

In other news I had some Miso:marseyramen: soup ramen a while back. Now, I don't know if they actually have miso flavored ramen in Japan and I doubt the workers where I ate were even Japanese but I digress. The taste wasn't anything special, there was sea grass in it too which kinda overpowered with a very oceany taste. But, the fried chicken:marseyblack::marseyfriedchicken: it was served with was very good.

Oh, and don't forget to get hyped for the Instant Death anime adaption airing in 4 months.

There's nothing worse than ordering at a Japanese place and then hearing the waitress yell to the chef in Chinese :marseyjewoftheorient:

same reason i stopped watching seven deadly sins. there is no struggle, they face no adversity, sat through a whole movie of the MC's beating up faceless bad guys who cant even slap back. whats the point of telling a story without a struggle?

Well, I don't have a problem with no struggle. Only fake struggle. And it's mostly only a problem in existential fights with massive stakes, where if the hero loses everyone dies and the earth explodes. I guess it kinda depends on what kinda story it is. And of course Japan has it's own culture, where they have to fight all they way for honor's sake if even if it's for no good reason and and the outcome obvious from the get go.
