The true fujos that actually enjoy nerd shit and aren't just pretending to don't care much for tech advancement outside of their shit breaking.
For a good example: it took until about 2017 for anime blu-rays of reverse harem/otoge adaptation and yaoi anime to start outselling DVD's.
Until ensemble stars and Disney twisted wonderland and fgo and genshin just won't load, they won't get a new one.
The other thing is just that cost of living doesn't infinitely increase in Japan as the government doesn't infinitely import more brown people to increase the GDP.
