Dropped Highspeed Etoile halfway through episode 2. Actual 3/10 show
Started watching The Irregular at Magic High School which is mid so far but the magic system is neat. Imouto definitely needs to tone down the brocon though

Apparently the bartender anime is a remake of an older one just called Bartender, so I'm considering just watching that instead. The ongoing season isn't bad though

I don't know how the frick they got all the brands they did. I was kind of pumped because of that.
I am not sure what motivated a remake but I think its managed to be comfy.
Watch the original, its still full of the "I actually knew you were in here because you had a fight with your wife" but less of the "actually the thing I literally asked you to do wasn't what I wanted you to do", at least the manga was like that.
I think the ending was pretty mid , I wish it just was Moblearning to be himself despite the powers, not without the powers , S2 was amazing and I don't hate how I got there

Still watching Dirty Pair. It's really good, much better than I expected. It never loses its momentum, it's probably one of the best episodic animes I've ever seen. Each setup is unique so the formula doesn't get boring, some of the episodes are surprisingly dark.

I really like the 80s anime scifi aesthetic and this show hits the nail on the head in that regard. It's less fan servicey than most moeshit tbh.

It's a really well made anime especially given it came out in 83. Must have had a monster budget. They really do a fantastic job of coming up with scenarios for every episode, it doesn't end up feeling stale like lots of episodic animes do.
The faults it has are just inherent to the genre, the characters never grow because they're not meant to.
But it's definitely not something more normoid anime watchers would like imo

Konosuba S3 has started off strong.
Highspeed Etoile is really bad. Like 500 km/h racing sounds great, the show makes it looks like grannies racing golf carts and all of their maneuver needs to be polite.
Started Blue Archive, I don't know much about the mobile game but it looks nice so far. The weird part is the only English translation is coming from AniOne and its dogshit, I am surprised no one in the west has picked this up.

Been watching the new Spice and Wolf remake. It's fine, but it doesn't hit the same. I don't like the new character designs or the way Holo's VA is doing her lines. They clash with my decades old memory of what it's supposed to be.
