I caught up with Re:Zero this week. The start of the season was pretty good but the last few episodes have been somewhat shit. At least Greed is gone, I kinda hated that character

I wouldn't recommend it, it's fairly long and the anime does a really good job of adapting them. I'd recommend reading the post-anime content though, it's super good. The subreddit has a really good thread detailing some of the cut content that the anime missed
