Bleach should have been a seinen.

The art and character designs bait you into thinking some cool shit is about to go down but it's just a boring shounen at its core where the story is kept stupid because the target audience are minors.

The character designs didn't look atypical but they were pretty good. All I'm saying is that the art gave off more mature vibes than other shounenshit, but the actual content was just incredibly boring, juvenile fights where everyone one-ups each other with bland moves.

I actually respect the Nips for refusing to cater to adult fans of their kid/teen oriented media. Shounen is about watching muscle bound guys make shit explode and chicks with humongous tits in the sidelines. You want your complex plots and characters look elsewhere gaijin.
