I foster multiple post-spay cats every month. As long as she isn't climbing and sprinting around in the first two days after recovery she's going to be fine.

She bolted when I was reaching for my space heater's power button and was on a mid level windowsill.
Once back in the rage cage, it took 3 hours for her to stop showing obvious discomfort and stress (yeah, she did this hours ago! This post is not flippant).
I had not needed to ice her belly this morning but the heat is back on the surgical site post-jump.

It's what, 2 days post spay?
First 24 hours they have pain meds still on board from the vet, so day 2 is when they wear off and they finally start to feel it a bit. Pretty normal for a little bit of discomfort about now.

Her refractory period is 14-20 days.
One anti-inflammatory medication is for 3 days, once a day. However, for 10 days, she has the option of two sedatives (only finding success with one; she fights to avoid the gabapentin).
She had lost abnormal swelling due to cold compresses but now her site is hot.

Meloxicam, buprenorphine, and gabapentin I assume?
Gabapentin in suspension is terrible tasting, so that's not surprising. I wouldn't force it.
Meloxicam and buprenorphine are better for pain control anyway.
Cats run a few degrees warmer than us to begin with. With her abdomen shaved, it's normal for it to feel hot.

No prob I have over a decade in the vet field working solely with cats, and now just do rescue work.
The ones I foster are done at the humane society during TNR events when the doctors are literally practicing and/or speedrunning them, so they are the fastest and ugliest spays imaginable. Even then, there are rarely complications. They also don't get any post surgical pain management, and they are still fine within a few days.
As long as she's confined to one room, and isn't jumping more than the height of a bed, climbing, sprinting, or fighting with other cats, I wouldn't worry too much.
