I dont really have much to talk about this week. I watched the first few episodes of 'NHK ni yokoso' (3 I think), but didnt have time to watch more this week. So far idk if I like it, its really awkward sometimes, and I found the (pretty loud) music that often plays in the background annoying. I will keep watching for now though.
For suggestions, I think the best way to do it is pool suggestions one week, than cast a vote on those suggestions next week. That way there should be a discussion every two weeks
So, if you have an anime that you would like everyone to watch and discuss, put it in the comments.

So
Backstory
Instead of finishing a work project I was scrolling on Reddit and one thing led to another and I came across this anime called RWBY with a really nutty community. Apparently it's some ULTRA-woke American thing and it's online only and the episodes are only like 10 minutes long. The community has been waiting 2 years for the next season which keeps getting pushed back and is now slated for a 2023 release. They are screeching at anyone who dares to question how a handful of 10-minute-long episodes takes 3 years to produce, because suggesting that the people getting paid to make it actually do work is inhumane and would lead to crunch and trauma (because covid) or whatever. I fell down a few rabbit holes and I will post about them at a later date if I remember but it's more of a collective thing than any one individual thread or tweet so maybe not.
Anyway.
People also apparently get very angry when you call RWBY anime, because it's American. And I am very certain that the woke factor + foid shit will make it absolutely atrocious. And I kind of like the idea of being able to bring it up and shit on weebs by explaining that anime is objectively garbage and yes now I've given it a try, with RWBY.
Should I watch RWBY through work for a few days?
Rock the vote rDrama.

Sorry for being late m(_ _)m
EDIT: There was a recommendation to do a recommended watch each week so that there is something everyone can discuss, and 'Welcome to the NHK' was suggested. So go watch it or be shunned forever.
I didnt watch too much this week, I tried @MatsurisAhoge's suggestion 'Recovery of an MMO junkie' and I liked it, though it was super slow. I also started 'Mysterious Girlfriend X' again, I watched like 3 episodes of it waaaaay back but found it too weird, I think it might have been my first interaction with anime. I liked it so far. I also restarted 'Jujutsu Kaisen' cause I never finished it, and I also like it.

It's been exactly over 7 days since the last weekly post from Clowncuck so I'm making it now
I started steins;gate it's pretty solid, surprisingly the english voice over may be better than the original which from I understand is rare
still gotta watch the new Konosuba movie, though the amount of pedos in the fan base is pretty gross (darkness best girl btw)

I spontaneously remembered this show exists. All I recall is seeing a few episodes on Toonami as a kid and the protagonist had a bitchin sword.

This is the same man who was accidentally wired 463m yen ($357,400) by the government and then couldn't pay it back because he gambled it all away on online casinos.
A 24-year-old man who was mistakenly paid millions of Japanese yen has already lost the money through online gambling, his lawyer says.
The man received 46.3m yen ($357,400; £287,000) in his bank account - money from a Covid relief fund that was supposed to be shared among 463 people.
He initially said he would co-operate with officials, but has since vanished.
The southern town of Abu in Japan's Yamaguchi Prefecture is suing the man and also considering criminal action.
The blunder happened when the 463 low-income households were meant to receive 100,000 yen ($770; £620) each as part of a government scheme to ease financial strain caused by the pandemic.
But on 8 April, all of the funding - 46.3m yen - was accidentally deposited into the man's personal bank account.
An investigation has since found that he withdrew 600,000 yen every day for about two weeks, local media reports.
When authorities finally contacted him, he said he no longer had the money.
"I've already moved the money. It can't be returned," he is quoted as saying. "It cannot be undone any more. I will not run. I will pay for my crime."
However he has now disappeared.
Speaking to media on Tuesday, the man's lawyer said his client had been co-operating with authorities and agreed to be interviewed by prefecture police. But since the lawsuit was filed against him on 12 May, officials have not been able to contact him.
The man had used his smartphone to gamble away all of the money through online casino sites, his lawyer explained.
"I don't currently have the money and I don't have anything with property value at hand. It's actually difficult to return it," the lawyer quoted him as saying, according to The Asahi Shimbun.
The Abu Municipal Government is suing the man for 51m yen, including legal fees.
Mayor Norihiko Hanada has told residents he is "deeply sorry" for the mistake and that his office "will do our utmost to take back the large amount of public money".
Another wave of 100,000 yen payments has been issued to the eligible households.

Hewwo Dramatards uwu,
I watched some stuff again this week:
Hajimeta with 'Kunoichi Tsubaki', which was okay, nothing special but ii enough to kill some time.
Then I started watching 'How A Realist Hero Rebuild The Kingdom', which was mata okay, Im still watching the second season currently.
I also restarted 'The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious' cause I never finished it when I first started, and I liked it even though I was a bit odoroita that the show went so far into drama territory after being pretty much only comedy for 10 episodes.
Saigo thing I watched is 'Boarding School Juliet', havent finished it yet but I suki it so far, though there are only 3 episodes left and I have the suspicion that it will have some shitty open ending and will never get a second season. I hope not.
I also mimashita 'The Fruit Of Evolution' a few weeks back, I think I never mentioned that. Had a bit of an hen start but got better later on, I would watch a second season.
Korewa it for this week, if you have romance or romcom anime recommendations (like Boarding school juliet) let me know kudasai uwu.
