My vision and my heart were completely taken over by "N." The case of five missing junior high school boys, the massacre of an entire elementary school class. A car crash resulting in the deaths of two people. The letter "N" was left at each of these crime scenes. An urban legend circulates, suggesting the main culprit is 'N'
Wow I wonder who are all these Ns are committing all these crimes. Despite being a small minority population, they are prolific criminals.

This is begging for racist psychoanalysis of the Asian male psyche. The protagonist is a professional tutor and he's helping his students cheat by feeding them the test answers ahead of time. There's a white chad that is portrayed as the villain for rightfully accusing him of cheating (and also fricking the sideways vagina that he crushes on)

Watched 'Oshi no Ko', already made a comment about it in the last thread which Im just gonna copy here:
Alright anime commenters I binged 'Oshi no Ko' and while its good, can anyone explain to me why they wasted more than half of the second season on that theatre shit? It just doesnt stop! In the beginning I though it would be two or three episodes but it just keeps going!!! Noone cares about most of the characters from there, story barely moves forward, its just waaay too long. They did a fricking flashback for the bad actor guy as if anyone gave a shit about him. Or the mangaka stuff, noone cares. And then when some interesting stuff finally starts happening, the season ends
Also what did Akane mean when she thinks that there is an obvious detail which aqua missed that would reveal that his father isnt dead yet? Or is that not explained yet? The show has the annoying habit of teasing happenings which then dont happen. Another example would be when aqua called out rubies old name in the very beginning so they nearly discover who each other was in their old life, but then they dont and they still havent by the end of season 2. This isnt that big of an issue really but I still wonder why they havent once talked about their past lives in the 16 years they lived together.
Overall it was a good show for sure, but imo the pilot episode promises something different from what the rest delivers. Or rather, the rest does deliver, but veeeeery slowly, especially in season 2.
Then I watched 'Ayakashi Triangle', it was okay I guess, but nothing special.
After that I watched Ranma½, the 2024 version. Was pretty good imo, never watched the old one before so I couldnt really compare, but I liked it. After watching it I even started watching the old version out of curiosity, and so far it seems like the new version is a fairly faithful adaption. Ill keep watching the old version, though idk if Ill finish it since its so many episodes. Ill probably get bored at some point.
And thats it for the week. !anime

Rewatched 'Kaichou wa Maid-sama!', its decent, but overall theres little actual development of any of the characters, or their relationships, which is unfortunate.
Then I started rewatching 'Dagashi Kashi'. Also a good anime, it has a kinda unique feeling to it imo, I really like the small town setting. Maybe its just nostalgia, idk. Good anime anyway.
Then I watched the first episode of 'Handyman Saitou in Another World', the way its presented as a lot of small short stories is pretty annoying so idk if Ill keep watching.
Then I watched 'Devilman Crybaby', also a decent show, though it felt a bit rushed in the latter half. It probably should have been a 12 episode anime. What I do not get is
Then I watched 'Dandadan', also good, though the season just cuts off in the middle of the plotline, which is haram. Cant even call this a cliffhanger, it legit just stops. At least it continues in half a year I guess.
Thats it for the week. Just started watching 'Oshi no Ko', first episode is promising.
