Tbf arcade gaming has been steadily on the decline since the 2000s, almost all the big arcades have closed

Online releases kind of sped up the decline, used to be they would release arcade cabinets for fighting games when development was done but before the physical copies shipped but afaik they don't bother anymore

Plus home consoles are so good the cabinets dont offer any kind of advantage

Even though they're technically incentivizing immigration they still require N3 or higher japanese which is like 2 years of full time study and everywhere will still discriminate against you. Only certain apartments will rent to you and lots of places wont let you in.
