I know this is a long shot, but my dad has just been diagnosed w dementia

he is still him but he fades sometimes

i want to find this show so i can show it to him next time i visit

because he loved it before

some years ago i visited my dad and he was obsessed with an old low budget space themed scifi show he'd found

it was kind of like red dwarf but wasn't that

it was silly and cheesy and colorful and weird

anyone have any ideas what it might have been?
